What we found Shareholder offer unconfirmed Not confirmed by the company

Deliveroo connects customers with restaurants, grocers and other retailers for delivery. DoorDash acquired Deliveroo plc in October 2025.

What we found

A delivery-fee discount or other consumer reward for holders of the former Deliveroo shares is unconfirmed. The checked announcements cover the 2021 share offer and the 2025 takeover, not a shareholder delivery benefit.

An invitation to buy shares

In March 2021, Deliveroo announced plans to let UK customers buy shares in its flotation. The proposed share offer concerned ownership; it promised no delivery discount for buying shares.

What happened to the ROO shares?

Deliveroo’s entire share capital passed to DoorDash on 2 October 2025. Trading stopped that day, and old share certificates ceased to be valid documents of ownership. The London Stock Exchange cancelled trading on 3 October 2025. The former ROO shares no longer trade on the stock market.
