Free streaming and Premium are different
ITV describes ITVX as its free, advertising-funded streaming service. Watching that service free is not a shareholder reward. ITV’s shareholder pages cover share administration and dividends without offering a Premium subscription.
ITVX is part of the planned Sky sale
ITVX belongs to ITV’s Media & Entertainment business, which ITV agreed on 6 July 2026 to sell to Sky. Completion is expected in the second half of 2027. If it completes, ITVX and the ITV channels move to Sky, while ITV plc keeps ITV Studios, the business that makes and sells programmes.
