Rosebank Industries buys manufacturing businesses and works to improve them before a later sale. Its companies make electrical connections, industrial components and equipment for processing materials such as animal feed.
What you get
Rosebank ordinary shareholders can use EQ Boost to turn cash dividends into shopping vouchers with extra value. EQ lists Rosebank as eligible, and Equiniti (Jersey) administers its register. The ordinary shares receive dividends; Rosebank’s management incentive shares have no dividend rights.
Rosebank’s first dividend
Rosebank declared its first interim dividend in September 2026, payable on 9 October at about 1.55p per ordinary share in sterling. A holding of 2,000 shares therefore produced about £31 before any voucher uplift. The record date was 11 September.
What it takes
The published terms do not state a minimum shareholding.
Qualifying shares: Rosebank Industries ordinary shares of no par value (ROSE).
You spend your own dividend money. Choosing EQ Boost replaces the dividend instruction Equiniti holds for that holding, including any dividend reinvestment or scrip instruction. The whole dividend goes to EQ Boost, and you cannot top up the account with other money.
Before buyingA perk is a minor benefit of owning a share, not a reason to buy one. Share prices fall as well as rise, and dealing costs, spreads and tax can exceed a perk’s value. Read about the risks.
Holding through a broker
EQ Boost does not accept shares a broker holds for you in its nominee account. It can accept company-sponsored nominee holdings, so ask Equiniti whether yours qualifies.
Other conditions
- Age and residency
- You must be over 18. EQ’s terms appear to limit the service to UK residents; if you live elsewhere, ask Equiniti before you apply.
- Excluded holders
- Corporate shareholders; executors and administrators acting for deceased shareholders
- Joint holdings
- The account opens in the first-named holder’s name. They must have permission to create it, and withdrawals go to a bank account in their name.
How to claim
You make the election in Shareview Portfolio, Equiniti’s online shareholder account. EQ Boost then asks for your date of birth and an email address that no other EQ Boost account uses.
- 1. Check your holding in ShareviewOpen the dividend election for your Rosebank Industries holding in Shareview Portfolio and check that EQ Boost appears. If it does, select it and follow the activation email. If it is missing, ask Equiniti about your holding before changing an instruction.
- 2. Choose vouchers after paymentSign in to EQ Boost when the dividend arrives. Check the current retailer uplift, voucher amounts and spending conditions before buying.
Dates
The published terms do not say how long you must hold the shares.
- Qualifying date
- Check Rosebank’s announcement for the record date of the dividend you want to redirect.
- Claim deadline
- Choose EQ Boost at least 15 working days before the dividend payment date, unless another deadline is stated. A late instruction takes effect for a later dividend.
- Expiry
- Each retailer sets its voucher expiry and spending rules.
Company story
Two years from launch to a dividend
Simon Peckham and Christopher Miller, two of Melrose’s co-founders, launched Rosebank in 2024 to buy manufacturing businesses, improve them and sell them on. Rosebank’s first purchase, in August 2025, was Electrical Components International, which makes wiring and control boxes.
In May 2026 it bought CPM, which makes machinery for processing animal feed and oilseeds, and MW Components, which makes springs, fasteners and precision parts. Rosebank paid its first dividend that October.
The businesses behind that dividend were bought with a later sale in mind. Rosebank’s plan allows three to five years to improve a business before selling it, with flexibility over the timing. Your shares are in a group designed to change the businesses it owns.
