How to claim
If you hold the shares in your own name, use the Investor Code (IVC) on your share certificate or dividend confirmation statement. If a broker holds them for you, use the broker’s Adnams Code.
- 1. Complete the shareholder declarationOpen Adnams’ registration page, click Start Now and enter your name, email address and holding details. Contact Adnams if you cannot complete the form.
- 2. Use your registered email for shoppingThe discount applies automatically to the adnams.co.uk account with that email address. In an Adnams store, give staff the same address; they may ask for ID.
- 3. Show the app at managed pubs and hotelsDownload the Friends of Adnams app once registered. The app can be installed on up to two devices per verified shareholding. Say you are a shareholder when you book a table or room, and show the app when you ask for the bill.

Exclusions and limits
Excluded: E-gift cards, including tours and experiences e-gift cards; Drinks-only purchases at managed pubs: you must also buy a meal; Purchases for people who reimburse you (gifts are fine); Pop-up shops, bars, stalls and events; Adnams 10k race entries; Adnams products bought from third parties.
Usage limits: Meals for a table of up to six when you treat the others.
The offer cannot be combined with other discounts.

The published terms do not say when you must own the shares, how long you must hold them or when the benefit expires.
Practical notes
Check eligibility before buying shares
Adnams does not publish a minimum holding or qualifying share class. It has a second, unlisted ‘A’ Ordinary share class, and the terms do not say which class qualifies. Ask Adnams to confirm both before you rely on the discount.
Confirm tour and experience bookings
The terms cover tours and experiences but do not say how to claim the discount on them. Ask Adnams before you pay.
The terms can change
Adnams can change the discount, or suspend or end the scheme, and will tell shareholders by email. It can also withdraw the discount for misuse.
