Newbury Racecourse
Raceday badges
What you get
Shareholders get free raceday badges every year: two for one chosen raceday, or one or two covering the whole year, depending on how many shares you hold.
If you hold exactly 10,000 shares
Newbury’s bands skip exactly 10,000 shares. The middle band ends at 9,999 and the top band starts above 10,000. If you hold exactly 10,000, ask Newbury which applies.
Does the badge get me into the members’ enclosure?
The annual report calls the badges for larger holdings “Membership badges” but only says they admit you on racedays. Ask Newbury before assuming they include enclosure, guest, concert or other membership benefits.
What it takes
You need at least 101 ordinary shares.
Two badges for one raceday
101–4,999 shares
- Both are for a single raceday you choose.
One badge for the whole year
5,000–9,999 shares
- Use it for as many racedays as you like during the year.
Two badges for the whole year
More than 10,000 shares
- Each covers as many racedays as you like during the year.
Before buyingA perk is a minor benefit of owning a share, not a reason to buy one. Share prices fall as well as rise, and dealing costs, spreads and tax can exceed a perk’s value. This page is not investment advice. Read about the risks.
Holding through a broker
Newbury does not publish separate eligibility rules for shares held through a broker. Confirm that your holding qualifies before arranging a visit.
Newbury Racecourse does not say whether ISA or SIPP holdings qualify.
Choose a broker to see its guidance. The company’s eligibility rules still apply.

Practical notes
Not every broker deals on Aquis
Newbury trades on the Aquis Growth Market. Ask your broker whether it can buy and hold these shares and what dealing would cost.
